"From the Archives" has been taking a bit of a holiday break these past few weeks. I've switched gears from writing dissertation chapters to writing conference papers, which has been enjoyable but not too much to blog about. For the next week or two, I'll post some hits from blogs past and a bonus blog about my self-composed crash-course on American circus history.
In the meantime, here's an insert from the December 1940 issue of Rural Electrification News reminding you that "Electric Gifts are the Good Gifts." Even though the holiday shopping season is over, it's not too late to treat yourself or a loved one to a "small motor," "electric washer," or "table lamp."
